Lucine is the originator of her signature 2D fiber drawing medium, pantyhose. Collected and donated by Women, Drag Queens, and Dancers across the United States, upcycled, torn, and adhered to her handmade hook canvas. Asserting a new language for bodily memory in pantyhose.

This portrait was the experiment, very first pantyhose piece Lucine ever made. Pioneering the medium in high school art class, its creation unfolded during the quiet hours of babysitting for a school assignment. The rest is history.
