Lucine (loo-sin) Kaplan is an Artist in Residence at ArtWRKD and raised a few blocks from the gallery in the Newtown Borough. Lucine is virally and internationally known to be the first-and-only artist to work with pantyhose as a 2D fiber art medium. Spanning her career since 2013 on the conceptual grounds of feminism and fashion in fine art.

An alumnus of Naropa University's art program founded by Alex Grey (whom she separately studied with), boasts her dynamic portfolio showcased in nearly 100 exhibitions/gigs globally, including award-winning showcases (first in shows and categories).

Featured in prominent exhibits such as Denver Art Museum (2022), LA Art Show (2022), Basel House (2021), and Aqua Art Miami (2019). Her art has graced prominent locales such as NYC, Miami, Denver, Philadelphia, LA, and London.
